Arielle and her mom, waiting in a bamboo grove for the lakeside ceremony to begin.
A few months back, I got one of those blast-from-the-past e-mails: one of my brides from 2007 had read my ResolutionHuffPo
“You and Dan photographed mine and my husband’s wedding in May 2007 and, while we love the photographs of all the wedding stuff, we cherish all the ones you took of our aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. We were lucky to have 5 grandparents at the celebration but, during the subsequent two years, lost all but one of them (in fact, that party was one of the last times that mine and Logan’s moms’ parents got together with the entire family). Thank you so much for taking the time to capture glimpses of the people we love!”
There are a million and one reasons I do what I do for a living, but e-mails like these are truly the heart of the matter. Thank you, Arielle, for allowing me to share this!
