I got to the Chattahoochee River Park a little early so I could scout out where I would shoot with Caroline and Price. I had just spotted this really massive, really beautiful fallen tree, when I also spotted this really massive, really beautiful hawk (it’s a hawk, right?)… who had a rather disgusting dead squirrel (at least I think it was a squirrel) in his talons. Definitely awe-inspiring… also kinda gross (as confirmed when I zoomed in on this picture.)
Thankfully Mr.Hawk (and his dinner) moved on, and we were able to shoot with no further natural encounters.
